Only potty trained children are allowed in the pool and hot tubs.Please note that the owners request there to be no talking in the hot tub when the jets are on between 11pm and 7am; there is to be no loud music to be played outside at any time and noise levels should be kept to a respectful level between 11pm and 7am in respect of surrounding neighbours. Failure for guests to follow these requests will result in loss of the security deposit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shelduck cottage. It had a perfect layout for our family of 4 to stay with my Mum and her partner for a long weekend. The local village was a lovely surprise with lots of nice shops and bars. We were greeted with a hamper, with homemade biscuits and wine, which was a lovely touch. My only complaint was the extra security fee that had to be paid prior to visiting, which is only refunded after 2 weeks of returning. It is also written in the small print, that if the neighbours make any complaints regarding noise, then this money may not be refunded. We do not make noise however, with 2 dogs and 2 children, this did make us quite anxious, as the deposit amount is quite a large amount of money.

Beautiful cottage, much nicer then images perhaps suggest. Super clean with comfy beds. We had a slight plumbing issue late at night and text message was answer directly and plumber came out promptly the next day. Great service all around. Lovely stay .
