Easy access to local walking and short drive to many beautiful places. Cottage is really comfortable and warm. Loved the adjacent fields for walking the dog off lead. The local pub is wonderful too

Chelmorton is a great location to use as a base for exploring the Peak District and this cottage has all the amenities you need with an excellent pub at the top of the village.

It's situation,on the outskirts of Buxton is very convenient for lots of the area's attractions. We particularly liked the king size bed,set in the huge bedroom. We both found the sofa a bit too low for sitting on for any length of time. As the weather was very cold during our stay, we made good use of the oil filled radiator, particularly in the kitchen. As mentioned in the description of the property, the wi-Fi signal is weak, meaning only text messages can be received. Many people might find that a bonus!
