3 Primitive Croft is a well-received cottage in the Peak District, praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and welcoming touches. Guests enjoy the local walks, dog-friendly amenities, and the village pub's good food. The lack of Wi-Fi and phone signal is noted, but many find this contributes to a relaxing escape. Some minor maintenance issues are mentioned, but overall, guests are likely to rebook, charmed by the location and the cottage's cosy atmosphere.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. Only a few minor comments about dust and the need for a deeper clean of the floors slightly affect the score.
The location is highly praised for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to local attractions and walks. The village's friendly atmosphere and the nearby pub add to the appeal. The lack of phone signal is a drawback for some, but it does not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a warm and cosy atmosphere, especially appreciating the underfloor heating and log fire. However, some guests mention that the beds could be more comfortable and the bath facilities could be improved, which slightly lowers the score.
The cottage is well-equipped with a welcome pack and kitchen amenities. However, the lack of Wi-Fi, phone signal, and drying facilities for clothes, as well as some maintenance issues like the fridge smell and bath panel, suggest room for improvement in this category.
The provision of a welcome pack with essentials is frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating thoughtfulness by the hosts. It should be noted that such gifts, while a delightful surprise, are not guaranteed for every stay.
