I have stayed at this cottage a few times over the last few years. The cottage has a friendly feel, is warm and comfortable and ideally placed for exploring the beautiful countryside. Liz, the host, is very friendly and helpful and provides lots of goodies including wine, tea, coffee, cream cakes, butter, bread and lots more , even treats for the dog. I most certainly do recommend Silk Hill Cottages.

Fab place to stay. If I had to pick on something, the water pressure is a bit rubbish in the shower. Everything else was tip top. Great location. Lovely host

Found silk hill stables a lovely, comfortable and a spotlessly clean place to stay. Enclosed court yard was excellent for our two dogs.
