Lovely old stone cottage, excellent log burner but needs more adequate heating for winter but would be excellent in summer, pub 100 yards down road with brilliant selection of fine ales and food is superb. Hosts at cottage Mick and Lorraine couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, so well done to them and hopefully see you in summer?

A small cottage in a quiet village, close to the village pub. Friendly owner who is just next door if there's any problems. Rooms are clean and inviting. Lots of amenities to make your stay enjoyable including a pint of milk in the fridge, board games, books and DVDs for a quiet night in. Only problem we had was there was no phone signal, but there is Wi-fi in the cottage.

Mick called us the day before to talk through arrival and, given he wasn't going to be around, we agreed where he'd put the keys. The one time something went wrong, he sorted it out very quickly. Overall, well recommend - a peaceful break. One small point: Read his navigation directions, and ignore your SatNav :-)
