Guests say

Arnewood Corner is highly praised as a spacious and well-equipped property, ideal for large family gatherings and groups of friends across generations. Guests particularly enjoyed the heated swimming pool, hot tub, games room, and large garden, with many spending most of their time on-site. The property is described as comfortable and homely, with helpful hosts and easy access to the New Forest and local beaches. While a few minor maintenance issues and some dated areas were noted, these did not detract from the overall positive experience. The property is frequently recommended and many guests plan to return.

Most guests found the property clean and well-kept, describing it as friendly and comfortable. A few minor comments mentioned areas looking a bit tired and one mention of cloudy pool water, but these were exceptions rather than the norm.

The location is appreciated for its proximity to the New Forest, beaches, and local amenities. Some guests noted that walking locally was tricky due to busy roads, and the need to drive to pubs, but overall the setting was considered convenient and enjoyable.

Guests consistently described the house as spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for large groups and multi-generational stays. Ample seating, large bedrooms, and a homely atmosphere were frequently highlighted.

The swimming pool, hot tub, games room, and garden were standout features, with many guests spending most of their holiday enjoying these amenities. Facilities were generally well maintained, though a few minor maintenance issues and suggestions for kitchen improvements were mentioned.

Several guests mentioned helpful and responsive hosts, with one review noting a welcome gift of sweets and champagne. While such gifts are not guaranteed, the overall impression is of attentive and considerate hosting.

Excellent accommodation loved the swimming pool, hot tub , especially the pin ball and juke box. The grounds were ideal for playing games and exercising. We found the owners very helpful. We enjoyed our holiday.

Very disappointed with downstairs accommodation from the double bedroom it meant walking through the living room and dining room to get to toilet and shower room which was located in the utility room and for the single bedroom a walk through the kitchen to the same facilities. For house this size a basic built in oven is insufficient. Grounds of property lovely but water in swimming pool off putting as water cloudy.

Lovely house for a get together. This was our second stay here as a group of friends. The pool and hot tub were put to good use during the weekend despite it being December. The lounge has enough seating to easily accommodate the 11 of us as did the dining table and the bedrooms are each of a good size. Areas of the house are starting to look a bit tired in places and the plumbing is quite noisy but these things did not put us off having a great weekend. Therefore I would recommend this accommodation as a good place to stay for large groups.
