Both bedrooms are beautifully furnished with new bedding, feather-filled duvets and pillows, and each includes its own en-suite shower room. The living area’s lighting fixtures are elegant touches inspired by the iconic Orient Express, adding a dash of glamour to your stay.
Horsebridge Station was once a stop on the historic Sprat and Winkle railway line, giving the carriage its name and character. Step outside onto the patio furnished for four, where you can relax and soak in the serene atmosphere, feeling as if the train has paused just for you.

We had a fantastic 6 night stay. It snowed and was freezing outside but we were as warm as toast. The carriage had everything you could need. Clean and tidy, lovely bathrooms. Loved being able to buy a book that told the story of how the station and the carriages Sprat and winkle were purchased and restored. Liz & co were brilliant hosts. Many thanks.

A comfortable, clean and very quiet accommodation. A welcome on arrival by the very friendly resident labrador Dottie. From the outside the carriage appears to retain all of its original features but the inside has been very cleverly fitted out with two comfortable double bedrooms, each with an excellent en suite shower room. When the owner Val first purchased the station some years ago it was in a state of dereliction and over the decades has restored it to the magnificent place that it now is. For those people who have booked this accommodation then please on arrival purchase the book that Val has produced. It gives a short history of the railway line and also details all the hard work that has been done to the station over the years.
