Queen Victoria relished her holidays on the Isle of Wight – visit her summer residence, Osborne House (2 miles), or follow the Victoria’s Island Trail which takes in some of the royal’s most-loved landmarks, including Ventnor Botanic Garden (15 miles). Nearby Blackgang Chine is the UK’s oldest family theme park.
