Clamber over the rocks or swim, go fossil hunting and potter in the rockpools at scenic Steephill Cove, 5.5 miles away. Walk a section of the 70-mile-long Isle of Wight Coast Path for spectacular coastscapes and dramatic cliff-top views. Plan a day out to Cowes, 13 miles away, to amble along the waterfront, watch the yachts coming in and out and visit Osborne House.
