Everything was just fine. There are some pubs and a garden centre nearby. There are many towns and places to go, from this delightful cottage, in all directions. The 'Whitstable Pearl' is your oyster. We have been before and will no doubt go again.

Overall the cottage was fine, very clean, great location, good facilities - other than the sink in the shower room, which is exceptionally small and very difficult even to shave in. My wife struggled with the steep stairs as she has mobility issues but managed to cope. Just worth adding that it was ideal for our dog, with the large field directly to the front of the property.

Great short break, everything we could have needed in the cottage plus pubs, shops & garden centre with a great cafe all within 5-10 minutes drive, and thats not to mention the various north Kent coast beaches around 15-20 minutes away.If you have a dog, like us, this is a great place to stay with an enclosed gravelled area outside and a large field (they keep the grass cut) accessed directly from the cottage. Walk a few minutes across the road and you are in a quiet lane that leads down to a huge woods with numerous routes arouns and across it.All in all couldn't fault it and highly likely we will revisit this one.
