Sorry, no hen or stag parties. Please note: There is open water in the property grounds. No smoking.. Heron Barn is a lovely romantic barn, perfect for couples and dog friendly too.
The barn dates back to 1761, when it would have been used to store hops from the estate. It has one bedroom and bathroom and a lovely sociable open plan living space, all with country views. A bottle of English wine awaits your arrival.
In the grounds is a shared outdoor heated swimming pool, open in the summer months, and also a shared table tennis table and pool table.
This property can be booked together with Kingfisher Oast (M555050) and Moorhen Cottage (M555100) to accommodate up to 14 guests.

We had an enjoyable long weekend staying at Heron Barn. A very peaceful location to return to after days out visiting local attractions. The barn was overall well equipped, clean & comfortable although some areas of the accommodation & equipment would benefit from a bit of a refresh. The welcome pack & wine were a nice thought & much appreciated.

We had a lovely and relaxing week at Heron Barn. The Barn is rustic, but very comfortably furnished; there was everything you need... and even a little more: a bottle of wine, potato chips, an initial supply of coffee/tea, cookies, tabs for the dishwasher and washing machine. It was very clean. We could park the car directly in front of the house. The associated communal grounds with outside seating, ponds, heated pool, table tennis and pool table are nicely landscaped. Leeds Castle is within walking distance. There are more sights within half an hour or max. an hour's drive than we had time for. We would love to come back!
