They lie just 10 miles from historic Canterbury, and you can take a boat ride on the River Stour, visit the historic cathedral or maybe take in a show. Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, Howletts and Wingham Wildlife Park make great days out. Folkestone is 5 miles and Dover is 8 miles. A lovely place, attentive host. Games room (not great) pool table was ripped so unable to play on it and dartboard was badly bowed also couldn't play on it. Surroundings were beautiful, the barn was lovely.

Generally good all round. Minor gripes about tricky step in the bathroom which wasn't highlighted, no seperate loo and little by way of "extras" - no shower gel, minimal hand wash and had to contact the owner to find out how to switch on the telly. Comfortable and quiet, more or less what we expected but lacking in a personal touch or welcome feeling.

two gas burners on the cooker did not function, shower hose was split and leaking, had to change batteries in TV remote, dishwasher filter needed a deep clean, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall,
