Nice place to stay in a great setting, only a small tea room/ shop nearby but more places to eat a short trip away. Wasn’t the cleanest place we have stayed but not terrible just could have been better with little effort. Bed and pillows not very comfortable. I would stay here again if I brought my own pillows. Overall it’s nice and peaceful and ok for a short holiday.

We had a great time at The Plough Shed. The location is beautiful and peaceful with two great fields and easy access to a bridle way for dog walks. There is lots to do in the area and a great tea room a couple of hundred yards away. The Plough shed had almost everything you need although more cutlery and a washing line would be nice to have.James and Melita were friendly hosts and live just across the farmyard if you needed anything. We ordered a supermarket delivery which worked well and saved a trek to the shops although you can get a few groceries from the tea room. The pub in the village has now closed and the nearest one is about 15 mins walk in the next village. We used the cottage as a base to visit family and friends in the area so definitely intend to return.
