We booked this property for the location & because size (sleeps 9 with 6 bedrooms. On arrival (Sat) one double room had many wasps, both alive & dead. We notified the caretaker on same day, he arranged for a pest guy, who came on Tues & again Thurs. That room was unusable for the whole 7 days of our holiday. We were a party of 9, 2 of whom no longer had a bed. We rearranged who slept where, but the comfort, sleep and enjoyment was impaired. We requested compensation, the owners refused. V. disappointed, a small goodwill gesture would have acknowledged the loss of use of that room, discomfort, inconvenience and overall poor customer satisfaction, for a high end luxurious, expensive but beautiful property.

Amazing house and grounds - our family enjoyed 4 day break for a special occasion - the house has an abundance of character with spectacular views of the grounds - including resident rabbits, woodpeckers and deer - Thank you for making our time there so memorable.
