We have just returned from an amazing seven nights at The Dairy. The space was perfect for our family (3 kids and a dog). The weather wasn't great but it wasn't a hardship because the house felt so warm and welcoming. It had everything you could need (and Amanda kindly lent us a dish so we could make a crumble on a rainy day!).The field behind the property was perfect for dog walking, flying kites and spotting deer!Amanda gave us suggestions for places to visit and eat. The Old Inn at Holt had a roaring fire which made for a great atmosphere over a yummy pub lunch. Wimborne was a charming town with lots of independent shops. We had a day trip to Portland and Weymouth. We also visited Monkey World which was enjoyable and stopped in at The Barn Cafe in Lytchett on the way back. We would definitely book The Dairy again - such a great experience in such a beautiful part of the world.

This cottage is well equipped , the owners very friendly and helpful, we rented it for a weekend for a family gathering everyone was impressed with the cottage. We have booked it for a week next year as we were so liked it so much.

We really enjoyed our holiday in The Dairy. Because of the cladding and the amount of glass, the first couple of days were very hot. The fan coolers in the bedrooms were a great help. But once the weather cooled a little, it was fine. Great to have a dishwasher, which we loaded during the day and set off at night. Both Andrew and Amanda are lovely people and made us feel very welcome. Because I am slightly disabled I found the ensuite a bit small in the twin room, but it was good to each have a toilet when we needed it !!Would certainly recommend The Dairy.
