Kilkhampton is a Cornish village 4 miles from Bude, a popular Victorian seaside resort. Kilkhampton's old church, village shops, and pubs are great places to relax after a day of exploring the area's beaches and coastal scenery. When conditions are right, you won't find better surf than on Bude's beaches. When the tide is out, golden sand and rock pools keep visitors busy for hours. The South West Coast Path and other paths winding over clifftops and through green fields make this a haven for walkers and nature lovers. For those who prefer to stay close to home, there's a shopping centre, pubs, clubs, and restaurants. Rowing a boat along Bude canal's calm waters or walking the towpath among the beautiful (and friendly) water fowl is a great way to spend an hour or two.
