Guests say

Awel-Y-Mor is a well-received cottage in Bude, Cornwall, praised for its excellent location near the beach and town, secure garden ideal for pets, and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and the property's suitability for families and dogs. While some noted areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many planning return visits.

Cleanliness is generally good, with several reviews mentioning the property being clean upon arrival. However, a few guests noted issues with dog hairs and the need for a deeper clean in some areas, slightly lowering the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, the town centre, and coastal paths, making it an ideal base for exploring Bude and the surrounding areas.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property cosy, contributing to a relaxing stay. Some comments about tired sofas suggest room for improvement in the lounge area.

The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and offers private parking and a secure garden. However, some guests noted the need for maintenance and modernisation, as well as slow Wi-Fi, which affects the score.

While guests have mentioned appreciating the property and its amenities, there are no specific references to gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so a score cannot be given.

We loved the house and it seemed much improved since our last stay several years ago - it was very light (triple aspect living room and double aspect bedroom) and owners arranged for the heating to be on before we arrived.

It had everything we needed and we are hoping to come back. Will get in touch about next year. One thing I would say is that we arrived on 29 December and although we were allowed in earlier around 12ish, the house was very very cold when we arrived. It would have been nice if the heating was at least turned on (to a low level would be fine) so it took the edge off the coldness. And if the cleaners had been in that morning to get it ready for us, they could have done this. But it didn't take long to heat up so it really wasn't a major. just a comment. I also left a jigsaw puzzle with all pieces there for future guests.

Perfect for dogs as it has a large, secure garden and easily cleaned floors downstairs. The beds are really comfortable and although fairly basically equipped, it’s a very relaxing and comfortable house to stay in. It’s our second time here and we’ll be back again next year.
