Although the accommodation was clean, functional and tidy, it was quite cramped - we had to move the bin every time we wanted to get a plate or glass out the cupboard. It's also extremely dated with 1980's woodchip wallpaper, wall friezes and mismatched clashing furnishings. The shower was horribly temperamental, either freezing or boiling in the space of 10 seconds. We picked it because it was dog friendly but didn't realise until we arrived that there was no enclosed garden, only a patch of communal grass at the front. Some of the equipment could do with an upgrade, a kitchen knife snapped as we used it as it was so cheap and flimsy and some utensils were cheap plastic and were bending as we used them. There isn't even a tea bag supplied on arrival so be aware you need to bring everything with you including extra toilet roll (only 1 supplied for 3 people!!) 4pm is a very late check in time too. It was conveniently located to lovely local dog friendly beaches such as Sandymouth Bay and there's a Co-op in Kilikhampton. Bude is about 15 minutes away. We weren't expecting luxury but we have stayed in much better places for the same cost - this place is very tired and needs an upgrade.

Clean and tidy cottage in a great location. It has easy access to the coast and towns/places of interest.Selection of puzzles, dvds and books can be found, although would benefit from a few on the local area/places to visit.
