Welcome to Miramar, a serene coastal sanctuary just a short stroll from the heart of Victorian Bude, where a charming blend of cafés, restaurants, and boutiques await amidst the town’s nostalgic seaside charm. Step through the private driveway into a welcoming hallway with elegant original tiles.

To the left are two stylish living rooms, both with wood burners and Smart TVs, one with a plush sofa, armchair, and shuttered windows, the other with a cosy corner sofa, vintage seating, and scenic garden views through sash windows. A palette of coastal blue hues and abundant natural light flow throughout. The heart of the home is the open-plan kitchen/dining room, a bright, social space with a solid wood table, stylish decor, and opulent Italian marble worktops. Built-in ovens and thoughtful design elevate the space, while a handy ground-floor separate toilet adds convenience. Doors lead to a generous raised deck, perfect for al fresco meals or soaking in the bubbling hot tub. Below, manicured lawns stretch out, embraced by mature shrubs, flowering plants, and apple trees, an oasis of calm and colour for lazy afternoons or quiet reflection. Upstairs, soft carpet gives way to painted wooden floorboards and four individually styled bedrooms. The principal bedroom boasts a super kingsize zip and link bed, period furnishings, and stunning sea and countryside views. The second features a romantic kingsize bed with vintage touches. A third bedroom offers twin beds, while the fourth is designed for children with smaller twin beds. The family bathroom is a luxurious haven, with a grand marble-topped bathtub and separate rainfall shower for spa-like indulgence. Outdoors, the deck flows into a chic patio with rattan-style furnishings and a hot tub at its heart. A stylish outdoor rainfall shower is discreetly positioned, ideal for sandy feet or muddy paws after coastal adventures.

Bude’s largest beach, Summerleaze (which is great for surfing), is a short walk from the house, as is the town centre with its wide range of cases, restaurants and shops. Here too, you will discover Bude’s famous natural sea pool. Just a short drive brings you to the soft sands of Widemouth Bay, Sandymouth, Northcott and Duckpool. Most major villages, towns and attractions are within an hour’s drive; and because Bude sits on the county border, visitors can explore the delights of both Devon and Cornwall at their leisure. Breathe in the salty sea air on dramatic clifftop walks, or venture north for sweeping Atlantic vistas. Head south and lose yourself in the mythical magic of Boscastle and Tintagel, where ancient legends stir the imagination. Port Isaac, the home of Fishermans Friends and Doc Martin, has award winning restaurants and stunning views.

The wild beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor national park and Bodmin Moor are within easy driving distance, offering spectacular vistas, scenery and timeless landscapes.

Miramar took our breath away! It was elegant and beautifully decorated/ furnished. The period features were complemented by gentle sea side colours which relaxed us as soon as we went inside. The large kitchen was stocked with everything we could have wished for and the coffee machine with pods was a lovely bonus. The ability to wash and dry our things was great, and the washing pods was a thoughtful touch. The bathroom was luxurious - the bath of my dreams! The living room was flooded with light even on rainy days and the log burner created a beautiful Cosy feel. We enjoyed playing the games available - such a nice touch! The bedrooms were gorgeous and so well appointed. The blend of antique furniture and modern comforts was spot on. Outside was as wonderful as the inside with a large dog friendly garden. We enjoyed collecting the cooking apples and have made a crumble since coming home. The views are stunning and the garden so well tended. The hot tub added a touch of luxury and it was sparkling clean. It was heated for our arrival - again, so thoughtful. The owners were wonderful - easy to reach and nothing was too much trouble.Overall, this is the most amazing holiday home and you will not be disappointed. The location is perfect. Definitely take a stroll to Summerleaze beach, the quaint shops and Bude Canal with its heritage centre - all very close. Top tip - grab a table in the conservatory in Bude heritage centre - incredible views over the beach. Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Isaac are not far, and again highly recommended. Widemouth Manor is well worth booking if you want to eat in the most fabulous coastal location. Thank you to the hosts for a fantastic week away!

Lovely property with a large garden ideal for families and dogs, parking for two cars, and within easy walking distance of beach and shops. Hot tub a welcome bonus and used most days. Kitchen well equipped. Two lounges very useful with a three generation family

A large beautiful home. Large garden and a great hot tub. Short walk to shops and beach. No welcome back on arrival. Negative thing was the smell of drains which spoilt it. The owner did contact us regarding this problem but unfortunately whilst we were there it didn’t get fixed. We would stay again
