Tucked away on a quiet country lane and surrounded by rolling hills, Penrose Cottage has plenty of traditional character, with beams, cosy corners, and countryside views from many of the rooms. Inside, there’s loads of space to spread out and unwind. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is the heart of the home — with a classic AGA, big farmhouse table, and everything you need for lazy breakfasts or family dinners. There’s also a separate kitchen with modern appliances and a handy utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and extra fridge. The sitting room is warm and welcoming, with comfy sofas and a wood-burning stove that’s perfect for evenings in. The bright sun room opens straight onto the garden and makes a great spot for reading, playing board games, or just taking in the view.

Upstairs, there are five bedrooms sleeping up to ten guests; two king-size rooms, a double, a twin, and a bunk room suitable for children. Two rooms have en-suite showers, and there’s also a family bathroom with both a bath and a corner shower.
