Guests say

Sea Horizon View in Bude, Cornwall, is a well-received apartment praised for its prime location, comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to the beach, shops, and amenities. While some guests mention minor maintenance issues and the need for better lighting, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Most guests found the apartment to be clean and welcoming, though a few noted areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as the living room carpet and the entrance hall. The majority of comments, however, reflect a satisfactory level of cleanliness.

The apartment's location is highly praised for its convenience to the beach, shops, and local attractions. Despite some comments about noise and parking challenges, the central location is considered a major advantage by most guests.

Guests generally find the apartment comfortable, with a spacious lounge and comfortable bedrooms. However, there are remarks about the mattresses being uncomfortable and the need for cushions, which slightly affects the comfort score.

The apartment is well-equipped with kitchen appliances, toys, games, and entertainment options. Some guests noted the need for better lighting, blinds for privacy, and clearer refuse instructions. Maintenance of the shared entrance and stairway was also a concern.

While guests have mentioned the provision of items such as biscuits, tea, and milk, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures across all stays. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that these thoughtful touches will be provided for every guest.

The flat was perfect for our holiday, comfortable and homely. It had all you needed for self catering. It worked out well for us and our guide dog mum Kylie. Will return!!

Wouldnt suggest anyone with difficulty walking to stay because of the stair climb to the flat, but would be worth the struggle if you can. There was biscuits, teabags, and even milk provided which was a great touch on arrival, we had took things to start us off, but those items provided really set up the standard. The ONLY negative criticism I could say is that we had to pay £26.50 for a parking permit and leave the car in the beach car park, which made us nervous as it was pitch black, and a lonely walk if alone On booking the holiday the website said a parking permit was provided, and even on the confirmation emails it said a permit was provided, so spending that much at the start did put a downer on arriving.

It is spacious and has good facilities with many additional extras. However, there does need to be a more thorough clean of the property. We also thought that there were urine aromas around the property from dogs. The entrance hall, staircase leads a lot to be desired. This has a terrible aroma and is clearly not maintained/cleaned at all
