We had a 3 generation holiday, youngest of children aged 2, the secure garden meant that we could allow the children to play knowing they were safe. There was plenty of space within the property for the amount of people in our party and we didn't feel in each other's ways at all. The little play area at the rear of the property was perfect for the little ones, and maintained by the locals, who were all very friendly. The village store next door was very well stocked for the everyday essentials. Thursday evening, there was a pizza van that came and parked by the village store, which cooked freshly made pizzas on order. Neil the owner of the Penahven was very friendly and communication was great. If the was one flaw I had to mention about the property, it would be the lack of privacy between bedroom and ensuite in the main upstairs bedroom. But this was just a personal preference and understand other people probably wouldn't have an issue with it. Myself and my husband worked around this and didn't let it spoil our holiday xx I would definitely recommend penhaven to family and friends.

Perfect for a multiple generation holiday stay. Basket of goodies on arrival was exceptional and very much appreciated. Owner very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend this as a fantastic base for exploring North Cornwall and Devon.
