About this property

Overlooking the delightful gardens this end of terrace house is tucked away on the edge of the Village of Gardens within the resort at Pendra Loweth, nr Falmouth. The village is purpose built and all the properties are self-catering holiday homes, perfect for a family getaway within 1 mile of the coast. You enter the property into the large open plan living area with dining area and kitchen, French doors open up onto the south facing patio, a real suntrap and great for outside dining. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room and TV plus two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom, there is also a cloakroom on the ground floor for convenience. As well as the suntrap patio as the name of the village suggests, there are also lovely communal gardens for all to enjoy, picnic or play. The shred onsite facilities are there for all the family to enjoy including a splash pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court and children's play area (seasonal opening times apply). The maritime town of Falmouth is on the doorstep, a short 10 minute drive, where you will find a superb mix of great restaurants, cafes, takeaways and plenty to do and see. Take a trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River, or stop off at the National Maritime Museum. The gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah offer fabulous day trips for all ages and interests and are not to be missed. A stay at Tremaen is a top pick for an action packed or relaxing family holiday and ideally placed for days at the beach.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry viii, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).

Lovely touches such as the afternoon tea products, milk, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, cleaning cloths etc. were very welcome. The holiday site is well landscaped and enjoyable to walk around. Convenient for all area attractions. Only downside for us was wi fi and phone signal very spotty so couldn't research places to go while inside the property but signal good at the cafe on site. This didn't detract from our enjoyment of the cottage and would recommend.

We had 2 teenagers age 15 and 18 with us so didn't use the small pool on site but did use the gym which was a good addition. The cottage has everything you could think of, it was like a home from home. The bathrooms could do with modernising but that's personal preference the main thing was that everywhere was clean. The scones, jam, clotted cream and milk were a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Falmouth.
