Blue Sky Cottage in Liskeard, Cornwall, is praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts and essential items. While some mention minor issues with Wi-Fi and mattresses, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as spotless and tidy. Only one mention of pet hairs slightly detracts from an otherwise pristine record.
The location is described as peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxation and well-situated for exploring Cornwall. Some guests noted the convenience of nearby supermarkets, although the closure of on-site facilities and the need to drive to local pubs were minor drawbacks.
Guests find the cottage comfortable and well-equipped, with several positive comments about the cosy environment. However, a few guests mentioned issues with the bed's comfort and the absence of a freezer compartment, which suggests room for improvement.
The cottage is generally well-regarded for its facilities, with modern interiors and essential amenities. However, recurring comments about Wi-Fi problems, lack of a washing machine, and TV reception issues indicate that some facilities could be enhanced.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with guests appreciating welcome packages and useful items. It's important to note that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The lodge has everything you need. Itâs just the internet can be intermittent but we didnât let it spoil our stay. A nice welcome gift too.

On arrival it didnât look as though it had been cleaned and the bed linen had been used, however after speaking with Tony the problem was quickly rectified. Very quiet well kept site. WiFi was intermittent but as we were only there in the evenings it meant we couldnât get many tv channels to choose from.
