The market town of Liskeard is at the head of the Looe Valley in Cornwall. The town has a market and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. Looe is 9 miles away with its beach and harbour. In between there’s fishing and watersports at Siblyback Lake, the Donkey Sanctuary at St Ann's Chapel, National Trusts Cotehele House and gardens, and the golf course at St Mellion International Resort. Head to the Eden Project for a day out with the children. Plymouth, with its Barbican docks area, shops, theatres and restaurants and the National Maritime Museum is 30 minutes by car.
