The generous, open-plan living space boasts a contemporary, light and bright design, with large corner sofas, which are perfect for snuggling into on an evening. The French doors open out onto the small terrace area with outdoor furniture, which is a great place for al fresco dining.
Swallows Rest provides idyllic accommodation for couples, both young and old, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you are looking for a central base from which to explore the wider region of Cornwall, then this is a perfect spot to choose.
Boasting a central location, there are many key tourist attractions that Cornwall has to offer situated close by, including the fishing town of Fowey and Looe, and the coastal village of Polperro. Bodmin Moor is only a short drive away to the North. Also within easy reach are the many beautiful gardens on the south coast. The historic city of Plymouth is just a short drive away, where there are many sandy, surfing beaches on the north coast, including Newquay with its zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium.
Alternatively, why not visit the harbour towns of Port Isaac, where the TV series of Doc Martin is filmed, and Padstow, with its variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Beach 10½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

We have stayed in a good number of cottages in the UK over many years but Swallows Rest has to rate as one of the best. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owners have obviously taken great care over the decoration and furnishings. Everything we needed was to hand. Home made scones, jam and cream was a very welcoming treat!

Beautiful cottage well equipped everything we needed and more, the cottage is immaculate and the garden is beautiful, the dog walk from the cottage over two fields is very welcome for our dog Dexter he loved it.
