This stylish semi-detached holiday home is located within the wooded grounds of a former hotel and on the edge of the historic and quaint Cornish fishing town of Looe, on Cornwall’s beautiful south coast and has great views across the estuary and wooded valley.
The house is perfectly located in peaceful grounds, with French doors leading from the dining room to the patio, and French doors leading from the bedroom to a balcony. It provides an ideal base to enjoy the many amenities of the town and the surrounding area. This can be enjoyed by train as the local branch line and Looe station is close by.
Looe has a widespread golden beach in the town that is essential for that perfect family holiday, while Hannifore Beach in West Looe is a year-round dog friendly beach. Looe is also home to one of the country’s major fish markets, where you can buy the freshest catch of the day for that special meal or barbecue on the beach. Deep sea fishing, pleasure trips and other watersports can all be enjoyed in Looe along with woodland and coastal walks nearby.
To the east of the town is the historic city of Plymouth, with its National Marine Aquarium, theatres, cinemas, bowling and shopping, while to the west is the sea faring town of Fowey, home to the royal sailing regatta and many galleries, both of which can be reached by ferry. The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Padstow, Mount Edgcumbe estate, Bodmin Moor and Polperro are all easily reached and provide an excellent day out for all the family. Beach 0.5 miles. Shop 0.25 miles, pub and restaurant 440 yards.

Lovely home from home, couldn't want for anything, nice to sit on the bedroom balcony with the view. Would recommend but unfortunately we would not stay again purely due to the mount of steps within the property, we was aware of the steps prior but in reality it was to much for us.There is an outside seating area by the front door but no garden as such, so if you take a dog it is open space & there is a stairgate as no dogs allowed into the bedroom area.Front door keys were temperamental which was an issue. The fire in the front room we could not get to work.

Lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the estuary was gorgeous on a warm evening. The welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits was most welcome after a long drive. Because of the steep steps down to the road (no footpath!) not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. However, from the road only a 10 minute walk into town.Looe has a lot to offer including great restaurants, shops and lovely coast path walks.There is one EV charger that belongs to one of the cottages, so if you need to charge, would need to ask permission to use that parking space. We didn’t have a problem, but could be awkward if more than one EV.

We had a fantastic stay at Little Larnick! Fantastic location (with a great view from the balcony) and just a short walk into Looe. Very clean and the welcome pack was a great touch. Note: the drive is very steep to access the parking, however it does get easier after a few goes. Would highly recommend.
