Step inside, sink onto a sofa and make yourself at home in front of the glowing wood burner. When it’s time to eat, head to the sleek kitchen area, whip up some dinner for your loved ones, and then host a cosy dinner in the dining room. Alternatively, head out to the courtyard garden, fire up the kettle BBQ and dine alfresco as you listen to the gentle babble of the creek at the bottom of the garden. At bedtime, head upstairs and take your pick from three charming bedrooms.
Get the gang together for a day on the water. Head to Helford Passage (1 mile), where you can rent everything from a stand-up-paddle-board to a motor boat. Alternatively, pack up a picnic and spend a blissful afternoon at the beautiful ravine at Trebah Gardens (1.5 miles). Or visit the orphaned and injured seals at the National Seal Sanctuary in the lovely village of Gweek (6.5 miles).
