Very peaceful well equipped bungalow with neat garden. Bit of a steep path down from parking area to house but that is a small quibble. Village of Polgooth has a small shop and a decent pub so the majority of your shopping is best done at one of the supermarkets in St Austell. House is well located for visits to Mevagissey and adjacent bays and villages, and we found Bodmin Moor and Perranporth both about 45 minutes drive away. Highly recommend the Mevagissey to Fowey Ferry. We saw dolphins on both legs and as we got the last boat from Fowey to 'Meva' the captain seemed to give us a bit more time watching these magnificent animals close up as he didn't have a timetable to maintain.So to sum up I'd heartily recommend this part of Cornwall and Sweet's Close as the ideal base.

The property is in a great location, incredibly clean, tidy, and well maintained with no issues at all. It has excellent amenities and a lovely garden to relax in. I would have no hesitation staying here again.
