Had a wonderful time at sweets close. The house was spotless and lots of home comforts supplied. Lizzie was an exceptional host, providing very detailed instructions on how to operate appliances as well as extensive information on what to do in the area. She called us once we had settled to ensure everything was ok. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked most nights. The property is located in a very quiet area, the garden is lovely with lots of local wildlife to watch which would be very great in the summer. Walking distance to village shop which had a surprisingly wide range of goods on sale. Great village pub easily reached on foot. We enjoyed exploring the local area and there's lots to see within a half hour drive, however also looked forward to returning and having a cosy log fire each evening. Will definitely return if we visit the area again. Thanks Lizzie and team !

We have visited Sweets Close 7 times now and we love it more with each visit.The property has always been spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Lizzie is only ever a phone call away if there are any problems (a rare occurance!). We love the location, it's in the village but is tucked away in a perfect spot and feels very secluded. A perfect base for exploring all areas of Cornwall, we are still finding new places to visit and have an 8th visit already booked. Highly recommended.

Felt very at home here. Well equipped and comfortable. Close to pub and village shop. Short bike ride to the beach. Lizzie was a very attentive host who wanted to ensure we had everything we needed. Nice to stay somewhere where the knives were sharp.Minor quibbles:The drive is quite steep and we struggled to get the car out as the corner is quite tight. Also, the shower is quite tight if you are a larger build.
