Weve all been there -You arrive at your hired property for the week, enter & immediately you think "This isnt what was in the photographs when i booked"! Then comes the grubby corners of the floor, the tired fixtures & fittings & worse of all no corkscrew ! Well, rest assured this is definitely NOT the case here at Willow Barn! On arrival we were greeted by Irene who very respectfully opened up & showed us all around. Both Irene & Tom are very hospitable but not intrusive. A very well thought through welcome package also was there for us in the well equiped kitchen. All the properties fixtures & fittings are spot in, modern & very clean. Comfortable beds, very clean en-suite bathrooms & a lovely wet room shower. Not your usual tired out place this one! You can tell that both Tom & Irene pride themsleves in what they deliver & their many awards prove so! The summerhouse & pond are very relaxing. Each morning we awoke to bird song - no traffic noise & evening time we enjoyed a starry sky as you dont get in towns/cities. Owl hoots & alsorts of wonderful wildlife to enjoy. This was one of the VERY best stays we have ever had, cannot be recommended enough! If your viewing now with a potential to book - DO IT - You won't be disappointed! We will be returning.
