Guests appreciate the Lobster Pot's stunning views, quiet location, and comfortable beds. The property is praised for its proximity to local amenities and the waterfront. Some guests encountered issues with parking and kitchen equipment, but these were offset by the property's charm and cleanliness. The picturesque setting and overall experience have led to repeat bookings.
The property is generally described as very clean, with one guest noting it was tidy and modern. However, there was a mention of a full vacuum cleaner, suggesting a slight oversight in maintenance.
The location is highly praised for its great views and proximity to the waterfront, with easy access to local attractions. The steep slope and parking challenges are noted, but do not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback.
The beds are consistently described as comfortable, and the quietness at night contributes to a restful stay. However, some guests suggested improvements such as additional dining chairs and a king-size bed.
While the kitchen and showers are commended, guests reported a lack of kitchen equipment, unclear instructions for appliances, and maintenance issues like leaks. These factors have impacted the score for facilities and maintenance.
There is a mention of a welcome pack and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco provided by the office staff, which reflects thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not consistently mentioned or guaranteed, a score cannot be accurately provided.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lobster Pot. Everything was lovely. The only comments I have are - a few more teaspoons and wine glasses would be nice. There were only 2 teaspoons and 3 wine glasses. A corkscrew would also be helpful.Plus a couple more dining chairs. We were on holiday with our family in a different house and when I invited them round for lunch some of us had to sit on the sofa and eat.All that said I would return..

When we arrived we found a message on the sink in the main en suite asking us not to use the sink! There was a small en suite in the other bedroom but it was a bit of a nuisance as we chose the larger bedroom to sleep in rather than twin beds in the other room. A plumber turned up without warning on Monday morning and I had to ask him to wait 10 minutes, whereupon we didn’t see him again that day! It seems that we were contacted by the office in St Mawes but we don’t answer unnamed calls. Later Rhys from your office came and was so apologetic and gave us a bottle of Prosecco and asked if he there was anything else he could help with.I said the that we would like a teapot ! The plumber did come again and all was repaired and when we called into the office Rhys gave us a new teapot and we had a helpful discussion about the recycling. Rhys was very considerate and helpful. The double bed in the larger bedroom was comfortable but a king size bed would have suited us better. The view from the living room upstairs was a delight every day.
