It did feel like we were one of the first people staying at the property as there were quite a number of things that were strange: - there were no coat hangers in the property - despite the property being for 10 people there were only 7 mugs (and none in the annex despite you telling us there were) - the heating was very low / not on at all in some rooms even though it was the coldest day of the year, and no instructions for how to use. In one room the thermostat needed a code and programming which we couldnât do so we had to sleep in a cold room - the fire in the lounge had no control to be able to turn it on - the TV in the lounge has no aerial connected so unable to use terrestrial TV - all towel rails needed switching on by the fuse switch which we shouldnât have to work out the problem - ditto the wines fridges were also not switched on - the dishwasher had dirty dishes in it which isnât nice at all. Also the dishwasher door inside was dirty - no shower gels in bathroom or bins - one other thing, you should check the outside shower as when we came back on day it was spurting water as the pipe had come off (I assume because of the frost). Fortunately one of our guests was a builder and was able to reconnect it but you should have it checked and potentially lagged in this cold weather. - although a nice touch re milk and other products being left, they were all off on the day of arrival Our main comments relate to your service. We had to phone about a number of things and on three separate occasions you just didnât get back to us, and that is unacceptable.
