It's a great cottage for a couple or a family with one or two small children who can fit into the bunk bed. Cosy and dry (we were there at the end of January in the midst of the floods), and almost all the things we value in a holiday cottage were present. The heating was good once I got the hang of programming it, provision for computers, etc. was excellent and there was even a cat available outside for your small dog to chase! The stairs are challenging for people who are struggling with their mobility, parking is definitely an issue but we managed, and the cottage fronts onto the main street so that traffic noise, passing conversation, etc. is inevitable. But it's a great jumping off point for East Devon, Exeter and the Exe estuary. I will definitely consider going back

Lovely cottage with character . Old world charm, excellent facilities. Parking is a pain but if you are ok with walking it can be done.
