We had a fabulous stay and was very sad to leave. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. It was absolutely immaculate and was like home from home. The meadow was stunning and our little dog loved it along with the pond, which was so lovely to sit at. Lindsay and Jonny was so welcoming and was fabulous host with awesome knowledge of what to do and where to go, they know their stuff. My only regret was we didn't book longer . Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will return in the future.

Lindsay and Jonny are fabulous hosts. The Oak Stall is a beautiful home-from-home cottage, perfect for exploring Devon. In my experience, it is unheard of to rent a cottage and for every single detail to have been thought about - there was even a homemade cake waiting for us on arrival. If anyone is reading this review, and thinking about whether to book or not.... stop thinking about it and get it booked before someone else does. You won't regret it!

Superb, well equipped, immaculate cottage. Fantastic view across the meadow and big area to let the dog have a good run. Lovely walk around the pond with seating to just watch the ducks and unwind.Good location to explore north Devon. Easy access to main roads. The cake and wine were very welcome on arrival. Hosts available for any needs or questions. Good information booklet available giving details of cottage and local shops and amenities.
