Guests say

High Park Barn in Devon is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its welcoming owners, dog-friendly environment, and tranquil rural setting. Guests appreciate the comfortable bed, secure outdoor space, and the property's proximity to local attractions. While some noted the cottage's compact size and suggested a deep clean, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests enjoying the peaceful location and expressing a desire to return.

The cleanliness of High Park Barn receives mixed reviews. While some guests find the accommodation clean and tidy, others suggest a need for a deeper clean, particularly in the bathroom. The presence of black mould and cobwebs in some reviews indicates room for improvement.

The location of High Park Barn is highly praised for its quiet, rural setting and proximity to both the north and south coasts of Devon. Guests enjoy the local walks, the community spirit, and the ease of access to various attractions, making it an ideal hub for exploring the area.

Comfort at the property is generally well-regarded, with guests mentioning a comfortable bed and a cosy atmosphere. However, some guests note the limited seating and the small size of the shower, suggesting that while the barn is comfortable, there is potential for enhancement.

Facilities at High Park Barn are adequate, with guests appreciating essentials like Wi-Fi and a dishwasher. However, there are comments about the lack of a DVD player and suggestions for a washing machine. Maintenance issues like a faulty TV cable and the need for a non-stick frying pan are also mentioned.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is frequently acknowledged, with mentions of a starter pack of food items and other essentials provided. While these gestures are appreciated, it is noted that such gifts are a kind bonus and not guaranteed for every stay.

Only thing I would say which is no reflection on the owner or the property but the village pub is closed temporarily. Very comfortable property.
