With views over rolling countryside, this detached holiday chalet sits within an idyllic spot in the Exe Valley, close to the owner’s home, and set within 1¼ acres. The area is fabulous for walking, cycling and bird watching, with Exmoor close by with wonderful scenery and dramatic coastlines. Exeter and Taunton are a short drive offering shops, theatres and restaurants, or visit the beaches of North Devon and even the Jurassic Coast. There are several National Trust properties and gardens in the area, including Knightshayes Court and grounds. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Treetops is a truly lovely place to stay. The location is picture-perfect: peaceful Devon countryside, far-reaching views, huge open skies and the constant sound of birdsong. It feels wonderfully secluded and restorative without being inconveniently remote.The chalet itself is immaculate, exceptionally comfortable and very well equipped. Every detail has clearly been thought through, with all the amenities one could need and a generous welcome pack waiting on arrival.Michael and Sarah are excellent hosts: warm, helpful and hospitable, but never intrusive. They are a genuinely lovely couple and have created a holiday property that feels both beautifully maintained and genuinely welcoming.We would highly recommend Treetops to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside break in Devon.

this is a gem of a property the hosts were so helpful we were met on arrival and shown everything the property had to offer . The location is ideal quite and peaceful and abundance of wildlife on the doorstep . the gamesroom and outside dining table was a welcomed bonus . Most wonderful stay and have booked another stay later this year

This is a magical place to stay. So out of the way but still close to the Town of Tiverton. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The garden is large and enclosed so our dog could wander around safely. It is a quiet and peaceful retreat with no traffic passing and narrow lanes leading to the driveway in. The owners Sarah and Michael, were a lovely couple who were around if needed but never intruded during our stay. We were able to rest and relax during our week which was the reason for our getaway. We will definitely book again next year.
