Guests have consistently praised the holiday rental for its stunning location in Ilfracombe, with views of the harbour and easy access to local attractions. The apartment is described as clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing a cosy base for both relaxing and exploring. The warm welcome from the host and the thoughtful touches, such as a welcome pack, contribute to a memorable stay. While some minor suggestions for improvement are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded by visitors.
The property is mentioned as 'very clean', indicating that guests are generally satisfied with the level of cleanliness. No negative comments about cleanliness suggest it is well-maintained.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the harbour, local amenities, and scenic views. It is described as an excellent base for holidays, contributing to its high score.
Comfortable beds and seating are noted, and the spaciousness of the apartment contributes to the comfort of guests. However, a suggestion for a shelf in the bathroom indicates a minor comfort improvement could be made.
While the apartment is described as well-equipped and a welcome pack is mentioned, there is insufficient detail on the overall facilities and maintenance to provide a comprehensive score.
The mention of a good quality welcome pack suggests thoughtfulness on the part of the host. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this score reflects the positive but not universal aspect of thoughtfulness.

James Scott (from Bath in Ilfracombe for a walking holiday)
A very nice apartment, with a view of the harbour, it was an excellent base for our walking holiday with easy road access to beautiful bays and head lands. We delighted in sitting at the dining table near the window where we could enjoy the view. A shelf in the bathroom for shampoo, toothpaste, etc would be useful. The beds were comfortable as were the armchair and settee in the lounge.

Hi we have had a wonderful time at Nelson in Admirals house Ilfracombe overlooking the Harbour and Hillsborough also known as Elephant Rock. Wetherspoons and it's rooftop garden just a short walk away plenty of coffee shops and fish and chip shops and and some really great tea rooms and restaurants we had a really great view of the Harbour sat at the table doing a jigsaw puzzle on a couple rainy days. We have stayed at Nelson and two other flats in admiral house six or seven times over the years, Debs Ramsey is a lovely lady very friendly and always ready to help in any way she can during your stay and we will be back a again for another stay in Nelson.

Spent a very lovely week here in Ilfracombe. Everything is on your doorstep. We’ve been coming to this part of Devon for nearly 40yrs and this was one of many lovely times we’ve spent here. The weather was perfect and that makes a difference. Ilfracombe is not everyone’s cup of tea, but the week we were there it was perfect.
