Guests say

Coombe View is a beautifully presented cottage in a tranquil rural setting, offering stunning countryside views and a peaceful atmosphere. Guests consistently praise the immaculate accommodation, thoughtful hosts, and dog-friendly environment. The welcome touches, such as homemade cake and essentials, are much appreciated, though not guaranteed. The property is ideal for those seeking relaxation, scenic walks, and a break from busy life, with easy access to nature and wildlife. While some mention the remote location and minor maintenance points, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, making it a highly recommended retreat.

Most guests found the property immaculate and very clean, with only one review mentioning pet hair on arrival. The overall impression is of a well-kept and tidy cottage.

The rural, peaceful location with beautiful views is a major highlight. Some guests note the remoteness and distance to beaches or attractions, but this is generally seen as a positive for those seeking tranquillity.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and relaxing, with comfortable beds and furnishings. One review mentions discomfort with the upstairs beds and suitability for children, but most feedback is very positive.

Facilities are praised as well-appointed and in good condition, with only minor issues such as an old shower, a broken fridge shelf, and limited toilet paper noted. The property is otherwise described as well-equipped and maintained.

Many guests mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs with bread, milk, butter, and homemade cake. While these gifts are highly appreciated, it should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed for every stay.

Warm, comfortable accommodation with amazing views. Not much nearby but that is what we look for - peace & quiet☺️. Great communication & welcome. Welcome hamper of bread, milk, butter & cake were a great extra. The weather wasn't great but we enjoyed watching the ever changing weather coming over the distant hills through the amazing windows.

The cottage is beautiful, wonderful views of the countryside, decor is really nice and beds comfortable. We drove to Lynton, Combe Martin, Saunton and Woolacombe during our stay so didn’t spend too much time locally. Would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting an escape to a gorgeous well equipped cottage
