Would recommend this property as the location is perfect for Dartmouth and surrounding South Hams area. Clean and fresh inside and fully enclosed garden for dog, but weeds growing in pebbles. Maybe some love and attention needed there . Only issue was the seating. A previous review mentioned the sofa. It was so uncomfortable it could not be used at all and the single chair wasnt much better after a days walking. Also the table seating needs to be looked at aswell. If it wasnt for this we would be rebooking for next year.

We enjoyed our stay at Wagtails and Dartmouth. As others have said, the house is easy to find and was really well equipped. The sofa is uncomfortable though and we found the double bed to be too soft / bouncy and unsupportive. It’s on a new development and building is continuing. However, it was really quiet, day and night, and no issues from builders. Really useful to have parking at the house. Lidl and Sainsbury’s are within a 5 min walk and local buses at Sainsbury’s or the park and ride are a convenient way to get to and from Dartmouth, if the hill walk is too steep. The house is also conveniently placed if you want to tour the area and see more of Devon / Cornwall.

House was easy to find and the estate was clean and very quiet! It had all amenities we needed for our stay and was beautifully decorated and styled! Plenty of hot water when needed and all basics covered! Garden was lovely and perfect for our two dogs . Thank you for a wonderful stay!
