. Friendly owners. Interesting to see the racehorses. I'm giving 4 stars as opposed to 5 because the setting, within a farm and equine business wasn't as quiet as I was hoping - there was significant use of what I suppose was a farming quad bike, especially between 4 and 6.30pm. 'Luckily' it rained a lot so I was unable to sit outside, but if you went in the summer I could imagine it could get annoying.

the garden for the cottage was not private and also the side garden too. the patio doors to garden unable to lock which meant having leave left unlocked whilst out. You could not have the bathroom radiator on until the heating came on which was disappointing trying to dry wet towels.

Fantastic if you want to go and explore however also brilliant for slower more relaxed days. The cottage had everything you could need and the setting was perfect.
