Alternatively the nearby coastal headland of Berry Head, with its dramatic cliffs and coves, offers excellent walking and nature watching opportunities. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Very cosy cottage, great facilities, all the small things thought of to make your stay just that more enjoyable. Great stress relief, peace and quiet. Exactly as we wanted and more. Thank you Ian and Ali for a great stay.

Perfectly situated for us to complete the section of Hartland between Bude and Bideford. After a hard days walking 'Shipload Cottage' was a welcome return A warm, cosy and welcoming place. My brothers dog Pip also loves the place, with welcoming biscuits and being able to run in the owners Ian and Ali's adjacent woods.
