Gorgeous accommodation and really lovely hosts. We were really impressed by the facilities and especially how well equipped the kitchen is - air fryer and coffee machine (nespresso pods) are a fabulous touch. Loads to do within an hour’s drive - easy reach of Tintagel, Bude and more locally beautiful Tavistock and Lydford. There were only two small issues. Firstly that the advert didn’t make it clear that while dogs are welcome, they are not allowed upstairs - thankfully the sofa in the sitting room was an adequate and comfortable substitute for a bed so our dog with separation anxiety wasn’t alone, and secondly that the orchard, while delightfully pretty and a great space, could benefit from some sort of perimeter path to avoid wet trouser legs when it’s dewy or has been raining - it would minimise the amount of wet and leaves carried in on shoes too!Nevertheless, our memories of the trip are overwhelmingly positive and we’d like to thank James and Nicky for a lovely stay.

Great holiday cottage warm and cosy . The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. Our dog enjoyed the orchard space playing chase with his frisbee. We enjoyed the countryside air, peace and tranquility. The area is well appointed for moor walks NT visits and farm shop all at short distances from the cottage .

Just wanted to chill lax. Great welcome from the owner. Entered the cottage lovely and warm, really welcoming. Never questioned the cleanliness of the cottage. Spotless. The owner gave some great suggestions for eating out, attractions to see and were food shops where. Lovely garden for the dog to roam. He even helped me with my new EV, low on power he offered a socket to charge. That help take the pressure off. The week felt like a proper holiday and just seemed be endless in a good way. To coin a message from a certain film stars message,” I’ll be back,”
