Just had a great week in Shaftesbury, the accommodation was perfect. You could not have a better position and the view from the front was lovely. There is no garden as such but the park opposite has plenty of benches and you can wander over to Abbey walk and enjoy spectacular views. It was a bonus to have private parking as parking is quite limited even though the car parks are near by.Everything you need is provided and very good if you have a disabled person as there is a lift up to one of the bedrooms, we used it for taking the cases upstair. My 98 year old mum preferred the stairs !Plenty of restaurants and cafes within minutes of the property, you will not be disappointed. Plus much to the delight of my husband and friend there were numerous pubs to visit.I am sure we will return as it's a great place to meet up with friends and family.

We regularly use holiday cottages and this was possibly the best. Its quiet location in the centre of a delightful town was a surprise. Pubs, restaurants and excellent country rambles all just yards away. The cottage was stylish, clean and comfortable and very well-equipped. The owner provided very coherent and helpful information, good guide books and an extensive reading library…..plus a very generous welcome pack. Parking was just yards from the house. The town offered great shops and there was a small supermarket 100 yards away. Gold Hill was just around the corner.

The cottage was excellent, everything you need is in there, we spent the whole week cooking and everything we need was to hand, the rooms are comfy. The cottage is in a great location, and village has plenty of shops
