This first floor apartment incorporates lovely features including a 5ft wide (king size) four-poster bed, large picture window, and high quality Sea Salt bedding. The fully fitted kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer and ceramic hob and oven. Featuring coastal influences throughout to reflect the wonderful location of the apartment, the rooms are tastefully decorated in cornflour white to combine a feeling of calm and freshness. Original paintings from local artists showcase the stunning area. After a day exploring the glorious World Heritage Jurassic Coast or strolling through the gorgeous countryside, chat and relax in the sitting room on a comfortable sofa with warm light provided by the lamps. From here you can look out through the picture window and enjoy the view of the hill behind the property and watch the wind in the trees and sun-dappled fields. If you are in luck, you might spot a buzzard swooping down across the fields, the apartment taking the name Buzzards after these impressive birds who frequent the area. From the picture window you can also watch hens roaming and enjoying the area.

Lovely location and standard of cleanliness superb. Only slight negative is bathroom fan in flat and flat below noisy which is a nuisance especially if used during night.

This holiday cottage is one of three within a renovated large property. It was ideal for my friend and I on a short break. The living/dining area is small, but cosy with a lovely picture window looking out on to a big hill behind a more recently built property. You can see the free range chickens happily going about their day in the owner's garden. The kitchen is modern and has everything needed for a stay. The main bedroom has a four poster bed, which, although lovely to see, felt was a little out of place here. The smaller bedroom has a nice, comfortable single bed. The bathroom, situated between the two bedrooms had towels provided. The shower, not overly powerful, but adequate. I did feel that the tile grouting was in need of a clean.There is a little historic church up the lane with benches provided to sit awhile and enjoy the beautiful scenery and there is also a nature reserve further down the lane to enjoy also. There is no village shop or pub, but Bridport is close by and a large Morrisons on the main road. The lovely West Bay is only 1.8 miles away, where a day can be spent on the beach.

I thought this was going to be a disaster due to the first search I did stated that this was a house with 2 bedrooms. I did another internet search and found a better price. After booking I then read the blurb and realised it was a first floor apartment with no access to a garden, which worried me as I was staying with 2 dogs. The apartment was lovely and spacious, well equipped, clean. Well situated for either driving to the coast or walking to the coast. Be warned, car parking charges in the towns are high! The dogs managed fine, although they are early risers so I was taking them out 6.30am so apologies to the occupants below. There was a quiet lane close by I used for quick walks, but the nature reserve was about a 10 mins walk away along a lane and then up a bridlepath, and from there there is a path down into West Bay. Lovely view of the hill from the living room, though I moved the chair to face the hill rather than the house. It was lovely and quiet in the apartment, cooking facilities were good. Bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Can't comment about the heating as the apartment was warm enough without needing to use it.
