Based on a working sheep farm, the owners have even provided a welcome food package for your stay.

Head through the oak porch and leave your muddy coats and shoes behind, ready to refuel with a hearty meal and good wine. The kitchen is a treat for enthusiastic cooks and has everything you need to prepare meals at leisure, and the lounge/diner is the perfect setting for relaxed family suppers. Watch TV and bask in the ambience, or step through to the conservatory to admire the pretty vistas with your morning coffee. The enclosed outside space backs onto the pastures of the farm, so you’ll have some gorgeous views to appreciate whilst you toast your toes in the heat of the chimenea. At bedtime, the upstairs bedrooms and generous bathroom are a sanctuary after a busy day.

Chocolate-box villages can be found at every turn, and a scenic drive through open countryside and ancient woodland will reveal a whole host of delightful places to explore or sample some local fare including your nearest village pub 2 miles away. Venturing further afield, the golden cliffs of West Bay 14.5 miles away are a captivating sight, and the two beaches are brilliant for a traditional bucket and spade holiday. Keen-eyed visitors may even recognise East Beach from the popular television series, Broadchurch.
