I can highly recommend staying at Rivendell! The bungalow has a stunning view, a beautiful secure garden and the forest just behind. The bungalow is equipped with everything you could need and more. It was very clean and fresh and an ideal base to explore. An abundance of wildlife surrounding you, including boar and fallow deer! Great communication from the owner. We will be staying again!

A beautiful and very peaceful holiday cottage, with spectacular views over the River Severn. Less than 5 minutes' walk from the Forest of Dean, where we saw deer, an adult wild boar and even wild boar young! The cottage had a lovely feel to it and was very well-equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable. The garden is very peaceful and the little summer house a great place to just relax and unwind. The only real downside is that the cottage is up a pretty steep hill on a single track road, which may be an issue for less confident/nervous drivers. Other than that, it's a wonderful cottage in a fantastic location.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting with walks to the woods straight from the door. Lots of places to sit in the garden with several seating areas and also the lovely summer house. Wide reaching views over the Severn and a very peaceful atmosphere.
