Bramble Cottage is a charming place to stay and explore the many walking trails nearby. Although remote it benefits from the amenities in Coleford village which is a short drive away. The accommodation was toasty warm, most welcome on a chilly March day. The cottage is very clean and well equipped and also boasts excellent WiFi. I can highly recommend it.

Bramble Cottage was all that we were expecting...and more. The cottage was far more spacious than the photos were able to show. Everything was very clean and well looked after, and the kitchen utensils catered for all types of cooking (especially important for those who enjoy the self catering side of things or just want to stay inside on a cold, wet winter evening). Despite the wet weather, the views all around us were stunning... quite a remote area, but with a pub (good food menu) a couple of minutes drive away and Liddle about 5 minutes, that's covers all you could possible want to appreciate the beauty of the Wye Valley and the Forrest of Dean area. Gillian (Owner) was helpful and very thoughtful - we would definitely recommend these cottages!
