About this property
This a proper Cotswolds gem! Hazel Manor Wing, as the name suggests, is the detached and private wing of a rather grand Cotswolds manor home. As you drive down a sweeping treelined drive, you arrive and immediately feel 'this is the life'... From the outside this old building is the classic listed Cotswolds house complete with rambling roses and a typical stone structure. Step inside and a very warm and bright home greets you. The large, vaulted living area is impressive, with a large open fire surrounded by similarly large sofas and coffee table - the perfect space to relax. The sparkling kitchen is ultra modern and fully equipped and the huge dining table is a perfect for a feast as it is to spread the newspaper out!
There are two bedrooms each with a stunning bathroom ideal for privacy and two couples. Outside there is an enclosed garden area, ideal for your pooch and beyond are some incredible walks into 'proper' Cotswolds countryside. Take a walk along the lane to the nearest pub about a mile away, or jump in the car to Roman Cirencester, Tetbury or the spa town of Cheltenham all of which are about 20 mins drive away. As a family, as a couple or as a pair of couples this is a great place to explore (and relax) the Cotswolds.
Painswick is a town and civil parish in Gloucestershire. The town originated from the wool trade, but is now best known for its parish church’s yew trees and the local Rococo Garden. The village is mainly constructed of locally quarried Cotswold Stone. It stands on a hill in the Stroud district which overlooks one of the Five Valleys. It is home to a cricket and rugby team and has a popular golf course on the outskirts of the town. There is a local pubs such as The Oak and the Falcon Inn which offer real ales, real fires and a courtyard.

The garden that we could see looks amazing..Saw the main house from one of the smaller roads and it looks stunning sat on the hill. The kitchen cupboards and drawers nees sorting out and some things need a good clean especilly the oven. The mattresses were no good for someone with back issues as they are too soft and I ended up spending the last couple of hours each night on a sofa. Didn't like the woodlice!

The dinning chairs need replacing too as seats are very low and give no support. Outside furniture needs replacing as dirty and holes in. Many weeds too in the small outside area. This needs clearing and would not take a long time. Bushes in the area need cutting back. This would provide a view and not affect any other properties in the estate! The tree in the area needs trimming as too long and intrusive. The bushes that need attention scrape on the roof and you will have a gutter/roof problem if this is ignored. NO sign at entrance so very hard to see were to turn in on off a busy fast road.

The grounds were well maintained and no limit was put on for our dogs to roam, unless livestock was present. It was nice to relax in the peace and quite that the property was surrounded by. I would recommend this property to anyone.
