After parking in the designated parking place, make your way up three stone steps and into the entrance hall of Miller’s Cottage, where you can kick off your boots and enter into the stunning living/dining room, that has exposed Cotswold stone walls, flagstone flooring and a large inglenook fireplace home to a woodburning stove; the perfect room to relax with your loved ones, lost in the pages of a compelling book from the well-stocked selection or playing fun games from the ones on offer.

Two steps lead you up to the dining area which is partially separated from the sitting area by the TV, which can conveniently be rolled around to be viewed from either side of the room, it is here you and your guests can enjoy your delicious home-cooked meals, gathered around the oak dining table, whilst a second woodburning stove keeps the room toasty.

Look forward to rustling up heart-warming meals in the well-equipped kitchen that has all the appliances you require during your stay including a washing machine and tumble dryer, which leads to a useful boot room, idea for storing coats, boots and walking equipment, leading out to the garden.

Outside, a pretty gravel area leads you up stone steps to a lawned area with a table set that enjoys lovely views of the surrounding Cotswold hills and a summer house at the end of the garden, which is available to store bicycles.

Two tastefully decorated bedrooms can be found on the first-floor; a king-size with dressing table and vanity mirror, plus a fitted wardrobe and a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request) overlooking the garden with smart storage facilities by way of a custom-made hanging space and chest of drawers fitted into an alcove.

The family bathroom has a stunning exposed Cotswold stone wall, where you can indulge in a soak amongst the bubbles in the bath, or have an invigorating rinse in the walk-in shower that boasts a waterfall shower over.

Miller’s Cottage is situated in the vibrant market town of Winchcombe, an ancient Saxon town with impressive architecture, independent shops, cafes, country inns and fine dining restaurants, also known as the walking capital of the Cotswolds, there are many footpaths right on your doorstep, many of which incorporate sections of the Cotswold Way long distance walking trail which covers over 100 miles of spectacular countryside. In addition to stunning scenery, the town is also home to a variety of tourist attractions including the historic Sudeley Castle and the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.

Winchcombe is well-placed for visiting the many wonderful villages and towns of the North Cotswolds such as Broadway, home to Broadway Tower, an iconic landmark, as well as Stow-on-the-Wold, a historic market town which hosts an array of individual shops, contemporary art galleries and a Farmers’ market, held on the second and last Thursday of every month, offering lovely local produce.

The nearby regency town of Cheltenham offers a wide range of attractions, one being the well-known Cheltenham Festival, one of the top horse racing events in the UK.
