The cottage is in an excellent location for visiting Plymouth, the Hoe and the Barbican.I would like to point out that the cooker is a gas cooker not electric as stated in the description on the web site. The lighting in the living room was abysmal, just one up lighter on the wall at the top of the stairs. In the photographs on the website it shows a large standard lamp but this was nowhere to be seen. We had to resort to balancing the one and only bedside lamp on a cushion at the back of the sofa to enable us to read! Having said all of that, the location of the cottage was so perfect we would happily visit again.

The shower could do with a squeegee as the floor was soaked after and there was a white bath mat to soak it up which was filthy after one use. Parts of the cottage were tired and broken - the windows didn’t shut well, the blinds were damaged. The WiFi didn’t work the whole time we were there which cost us more in data. External lights to help parking and safely getting to the door in the dark were insufficient. Location was great though. Plenty to do.
